About
Albion Health Care Alliance

Mission
Albion Health Care Alliance is a recognized and trusted Albion community partner helping area residents achieve optimal health.
Vision
Albion Health Care Alliance envisions a collaborative community that values prevention, wellness, and improved health for all.

Strategies
  • Promoting community prevention and wellness programs across the life span
  • Supporting equitable access to care and services
  • Fostering relationships that increasingly engage the community

Our History

The Albion Health Care Alliance began as the Greater Albion Alliance Health Care Task Force in 2002 to respond to the closure of Trillium Hospital — the only hospital in the greater Albion area. The Alliance was created through the partnership and generosity of Battle Creek Health System, Oaklawn Hospital, Albion College, Battle Creek Community Foundation, and the W. K. Kellogg Foundation.

Today, the needs of Albion are changing and our list of partners is changing and growing. Watch for new partners to be announced soon.
