HistoryThe Albion Health Care Alliance began as the Greater Albion Alliance Health Care Task Force in 2002 to respond to the closure of Trillium Hospital the only hospital in the greater Albion area. The Alliance was created through the partnership and generosity of Battle Creek Health System, Oaklawn Hospital, Albion College, Battle Creek Community Foundation, and the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. PurposeThe Albion Health Care Alliance is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), organization based in Albion, Michigan. The Alliance was created in 2003 to promote wellness, access to health care, and care coordination to enable people in the greater Albion Community to achieve their optimal health status. VisionThe Alliance vision is a greater Albion Community with 100 percent access to health care and zero disparities. GoalsThe goals of the Alliance are to:
